Scope of supply

Main switchboard

The main switchboard is the central unit of a ship’s electrical power system, distributing energy from generators or shore connections to all onboard systems. It is designed for harsh marine environments and equipped with integrated safety features to ensure reliable and secure operation.

Emergency switchboard

In the event of a blackout, the emergency switchboard automatically disconnects from the main switchboard, starts the emergency generators and restores power supply. Once normal operation is re-established, the system reconnects and the emergency generators are safely shut down.

Shore connection panel

The shore connection panel supplies power to vessels in port and includes protection against undervoltage, overload and short circuit. Optional functions such as phase monitoring, automatic phase conversion and energy measurement can be integrated.

Power distribution panel

The power distribution panel supplies and distributes 440 VAC and 220 VAC power to consumers and lighting systems across the vessel. It is available in various installation types and protection classes to suit different onboard environments.

Group and single motor starter panel

Group and single motor starter panels control and protect electric motors on board, supporting manual and remote start/stop. They enable various starting methods, including direct, star-delta and soft start, and provide protection against short circuit, overload, phase failure and undervoltage.

Charging and discharging panel

The charging and discharging panel ensures efficient and stable battery management, extending battery life and reducing maintenance requirements within the ship’s power system.

Electrical test panel

The electrical test panel is used for testing, maintenance and repair of small electrical equipment on board, such as motors and lighting systems.
