AG EMS receives a new high-tech catamaran for trips to Borkum and Helgoland in the German Bight. The “Nordlicht II” is equipped with an alarm, monitoring and control system for engines and auxiliary systems from NORIS. By implementing the vessel performance management solution NORINET, AG EMS is also breaking new ground. The cloud based solution from NORIS will be used for data collection and analysis with focus on optimising the operating costs and achieving a higher system availability by means of predictive maintenance. Engineering and commissioning on site have been done by NORIS Automation Far East.
