Magellan Explorer departs with NORIS automation system

Do not allow the setting you see in the picture fool you. In the near future, this ship with its extraordinary design will be on the move in an equally extraordinary environment. Magellan Explorer, the ship's name, is the first ship designed specifically for Antarctic air-cruises and will be starting adventurous expedition cruises this season already.

The vessel was constructed by the ASENAV shipyard in Chile for Antarctica XXI, a pioneering operator of Antarctic air-cruise expeditions, also located in Chile. It is about 90 meters long and 16 meters wide, can carry up to 100 passengers in generous cabins and is assigned Polar Class 6.

We wish a pleasant and safe journey at all times! May all expeditions become adventures again and again!
