From 7 - 10 November the Europort, organised in Rotterdam in the Netherlands will attract 30,000 professional visitors and 1,100 exhibitors again. Europort is the international maritime meeting place for innovative technology and complex shipbuilding with a strong focus on special purpose ships.

We will present solutions for ship automation with our propulsion control system NORISTAR 4 – it is a modular and flexible propulsion control for CPP, FPP, POD and all types of thruster systems, which provides a huge number of additional functions. Start-stop logic-connection or DP and Joystick interconnection as well as additional touchscreen panel for detailed visualisation of control processes are just some of the examples. In combination with our alarm and monitoring systems and local operating panels (LOPs), we provide solutions for complete automation packages.

Our local control and operating panels (LOPs) can be used to monitor and control engines, gearboxes, drive and auxiliary systems. Some features are: data logger, predictive maintenance tool and on-screen user guide. Self-diagnosis functions, local availability of measurement data and operating states as well as remote access during servicing makes commissioning and troubleshooting easy. Due to the modular design of our components, our systems can be easily scaled and adapted to suit customer-specific requirements.

Our wide range of sensors can be manufactured to customers’ specific requirements, e. g. with different lengths, threads, connections and materials. Our analogue indicators have a compact and robust design for harsh environments and are also customisable. They can be equipped with additional useful functions, e. g. with status LED or integrated direction of rotation detection. They meet all common ship classification societies.
