Review: The Peter Gast Shipping Regatta was once known as a small, private sailing event among shipping merchants and has developed over the years into a major industry event with great appeal. Last year, the Danish island of Ærø was once again the meeting place for the maritime community: over 120 yachts and more than 1,000 participants gathered for the 42nd edition of the regatta. In addition to sporting ambition on the water, the focus was on personal exchange, culinary highlights and exciting discussions about current developments in the shipping industry.
