Automation systems are not immune to the passage of time. As a system ages, risks develop in terms of the reliability of the controller and the electro-technical components. What's more, after 10 to 15 years it is practically impossible to obtain spare parts from the manufacturers of many electronic components. Maintenance times and repair costs rise, as the periods during which the system runs without any faults fall. At a certain point, you will need to ask yourself:

  1. Is it still worth repairing?
  2. Are spare parts still available for this old system?
  3. Are there still qualified service professionals for the system?

Plug and play retrofit for engine safety system KN923

We offer a special plug and play solution for our safety systems (type KN923) that were used as standard between 1980 and 1995, in particular by engine manufacturer Deutz:

  • Direct replacement of all KN923s
  • Most modern and user-friendly technology available
  • Identical dimensions and connections
  • Use existing sensors
  • Monitor sensors for cable breaks and earth faults
  • LED status display for each individual sensor and output
