For the eighth time already, the "Railway Technology Forum” took place in Nuremberg. The NORIS Group, as Nuremberg based company with a long tradition in the railway industry and a regular guest at the forum, should of course not be missing there.

On the 11th and 12th of March numerous experts met at the IHK Academy Middle Franconia for a lively exchange. In addition to the Center for Transportation & Logistics Neuer Adler e. V., the department A2 “Railways with Electric Drives of the Energy Technology Society within VDE also organized this year’s conference. In addition to specialist lectures, a panel discussion was also part of the conference. This year's focus was on the special challenges of electrically operated transport systems. In particular, these are the changed framework conditions due to the energy and traffic transition as well as the increasing digitalization and networking, but also the rapid increase in passenger potential in metropolitan areas.
