The long-established company in Nuremberg was characterised by a constant change at that time: from a company that manufactured mechanic sensors and monitoring systems for German engine manufacturers to a company that developed electronic automation systems and becoming more international. “At that time we received more and more enquires in English and the employees had to learn the language to accurately process an order.”. Mr. Horst Schmidmer, the former Managing Director declared. He came by personally to the headquarters in Nuremberg to celebrate the 40th anniversary with the jubilarians. In reply to the question why he stays such a long time at NORIS, Jürgen V. answered with a smile: “This company keeps me young. A lot of people congratulated to my 40th birthday. That alone was worth to stay here for forty years.”
